Remi trust framework ISO 27001, SOC 2 and GDPR

Trust is not a separate layer in financial infrastructure. It has to be built into the way the platform is designed, operated, secured, monitored and reviewed.

As Remi continues building regulated infrastructure for money movement unified rails, we are strengthening our trust and compliance posture across three important areas:

  • ISO 27001 information security management
  • SOC 2 operational assurance
  • GDPR-aligned data protection

These frameworks help define how Remi protects sensitive data, manages security risks, controls system access, maintains auditability and supports regulated partners with stronger operational confidence.

Why this matters

Remi operates as infrastructure for regulated money movement. Our network connects software platforms with financial operators such as banks, exchange houses, money transfer operators (MTOs) and regulated digital asset custodians. That means every transaction depends on more than speed or price. It depends on security, compliance, reliability, privacy and traceability.

Sending money across the globe can involve sender information, beneficiary details, quote data, FX information, compliance and anti-money-laundering (AML) checks, settlement references, operator instructions, payout status and reconciliation records. This data must be handled carefully.

For Remi, trust is not only about what we say publicly. It is about the controls we build into the platform from day one.

What each framework supports

ISO 27001

ISO 27001 supports how Remi manages information security at an organizational level. It helps structure how security risks are identified, assessed, controlled, reviewed and continuously improved. For Remi, this is especially important because the platform is designed to support regulated financial operations, institutional integrations, sensitive data and production-grade API infrastructure.

SOC 2

SOC 2 supports operational trust. It helps partners assess whether a service organization has controls in place across areas such as security, availability, confidentiality, privacy and processing integrity. For Remi, SOC 2 is important because our partners need more than product claims. They need a structured way to evaluate whether the systems behind Remi are secure, reliable, auditable and properly controlled.

GDPR

GDPR is not a certificate. It is a data protection regulation and privacy framework. For Remi, GDPR-aligned controls matter because global financial infrastructure handles sensitive personal and financial information. That information must be collected for clear purposes, protected by appropriate controls, retained only as required and handled in line with privacy obligations.

What this means for Remi partners

For Remi Network Operators (RNO) like banks, exchange houses and money transfer operators (MTOs) and Remi Network Participants (RNP) like fintechs, remittance platforms, payout apps and embedded finance platforms, this trust posture supports a more mature integration environment.

Partners can expect Remi to continue investing in:

  • secure access controls
  • encryption and key management
  • audit logging
  • system monitoring
  • incident response readiness
  • data protection practices
  • compliance-aware transaction workflows
  • clear operational documentation

This is important because regulated infrastructure cannot rely on speed alone. It must be secure enough for institutions, flexible enough for software platforms and transparent enough for compliance teams.

Building trust into the network

Remi is building a programmable control plane for regulated cross-border money movement. That requires a platform that can support routing, liquidity, settlement, compliance, reporting, webhooks and reconciliation across multiple partners and jurisdictions. The stronger the trust foundation, the more confidently partners can build on top of the network.

This is why ISO 27001, SOC 2 and GDPR-aligned data protection are important parts of Remi's operating model. They are not marketing badges. They are part of how infrastructure becomes reliable enough to carry real financial activity.
